Ghoshpur Shri Ramkrishna Sevashram is a service-oriented organization established in 2011 after the devastating Cyclone Aila in the Sundarban region. Dedicated to rural development, social welfare, and spiritual values, the Sevashram works for the upliftment of marginalized communities through various humanitarian initiatives.
Serving society through spiritual, educational, healthcare, and welfare activities inspired by the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, and Swami Vivekananda.
Regular puja, arati, bhajans, prasadam distribution, Janmatithi, Tithi Puja, Yuva Divas, and various spiritual programs are conducted following the ideals of Belur Math.
Free educational support is provided to poor and meritorious rural students to help them build a brighter future through value-based learning.
Regular computer classes are conducted to teach basic computer skills, MS Office, internet usage, and digital literacy for students and youth.
Drawing and art classes help children develop creativity, imagination, confidence, and artistic skills in a joyful learning environment.
Free and low-cost homeopathic treatment services are provided to poor and needy people to support healthcare and well-being in rural communities.
Monthly eye camps are organized for local residents with free eye examinations, medical guidance, and awareness for better eye health.
Ghoshpur Shri Ramkrishna Sevashram was established on 20th April 2011 in the Sundarban region after the devastation of Cyclone Aila. Inspired by the selfless relief work of Swami Bitaranganandaji and dedicated local volunteers, the Sevashram was founded to serve humanity through spiritual, social, and community welfare activities.
